A fact-finding committee has been formed to investigate the leakage of question papers of Anthropology Department of Dhaka University.

Vice-Chancellor Prof A K Azad Chowdhury yesterday formed the four-member probe body, headed by pro-VC Prof M Shahadat Ali. after students of the department handed over a set of questions to the chairman of the department.

The university authorities also postponed yesterday's scheduled third year course final examination of the department.

Some students of the Anthropology Department informed the department chairman Prof H K S Arefin on Friday that the question of their yesterday s examination was leaked and they had the copies of the leaked question. They also submitted some hand written copies of the examination to the department chairman yesterday morning, campus sources said.

Examining the hand written copies. Prof Arefin found that it was similar to the genuine question paper, sources added.
