Veteran journalist AZM Enayetullah Khan yesterday called upon the leaders of political parties to focus more on major environmental issues to help achieve sustainable development for this welfare of the people, reports BSS.

He was addressing as the chief guest the concluding session of the two-day workshop on 'Environmental Reporting' organised by the Forum of Environmental Journalists of Bangladesh (FEJB) with support from the Ministry of Environment and Forest and UNDP at National Press Club.

FEJB Chairman Quamrul Islam Chowdhury presided over the session. Dr Mahfuzul Haque. Dr Ainun Nishat, Mohammad Reazuddin. Dr AZM Iftikhar Hossain. Dr AK Ena-mul Haq. Sycda Rizwana Hasan and Jawadur Rahman were the resource persons.
