Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) has urged State Minister for Social Welfare Dr Mozammel Hossain to withdraw his "indecent" comment about Journalists and seek apology to the journalist community, reports UNB.

"Otherwise, journalist community will be compelled to take necessary steps," DRU said in a statement yesterday.

It said the State Minister's comment that journalists taking bribe are writing against the rehabilitation of prostitutes of Tanbazar and Nimtoli is not only false and condemnable, it is also an attempt to undermine journalists and assassin their characters.
