BANGALORE. Aug 7: The most powerful supercomputer ever made in the country 'Param 10.000' would be installed at the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) here, under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) yesterday, reports PTI.

"Param 10.000" would be installed at IISC's Supercomputing Education and Research Centre (SERC) with access facility to National Param Supercomputing Facility (NPSF) a C-DAC in Pune.

This would facilitate students and researchers of IISC in the software development projects on various science and engineering applications of national interest using Param 10,000.

C-DAC executive director RK Arora said C-DAC viewed this programme as one of developing greater synergy between its own effort of building application software and those of pioneer education and research centres in the country to address mission critical applica-
