LOS ANGELES. July 6: Women’s World Cup organizers sold the remaining 4,500 tickets for the championship match between the United States and China, making the title doubleheader at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena a sellout of more than 85,000, reports AP.

The balance of the unsold tickets went rapidly Monday after the United States' 2-0 semifinal victory over Brazil in Stanford on Sunday. World Cup spokesman Steve Vanderpool said.

Attendance at the final, to be Elayed at the same venue that osted the 1994 men's World Cup final between Italy and Brazil, should eclipse the 78.972 that attended the Women's World Championship opener in Giants Stadium outside New York City on June 19.

The match will be played as a doubleheader with the third-place game between Norway and Brazil scheduled to precede the championship.
