The story is about an old man and his wife. Their two sons and only (laughter lives far away from them. Their elder son lives with his wife. Their daughter Rekha got married to a person of her choice and lives with him now. And their younger son is a politician in Dhaka University. All three children are no longer in contact with there parents after they left. But the selfish children don't know how their old parents await their letters. The old parents loved their children so much that they were almost dead without their presence. They thought and talked about dying and their children

all the time.

The old lady thought that when somebody dies they remain as stars in the sky. so everyday there are new stars in the sky, stars people has never seen before. The old man and woman looking at the sky see a shiny star and say that star looks new, and they haven't seen it before.

The awaiting parents at last realize how they can possibly bring their children back home. They decide to dispose of their house and wrote to their children about it. Getting the letters their children came running to claim their shares. The old empty house once again gets filled up with people.

The play deals with a basic problem of our life. We have come to this world alone and helpless, we are not born self-sufficient. its our parents who helps us grow and enjoy this beautiful life. But the tragedy is that after growing up we forget everything and even someUmes blame our parents. Our parents awaits for us when we go away but we don't even care to write to them asking how they are.

The performance was quiet OK, the stage design was normal and nothing special about it. The lighting and direction was pretty well organized. The central characters were played by Asok Datta, Zhora. Shilpi and Suja.
