BNP Chairperson and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Begum Khaleda Zia has said the country is facing a serious crisis. caused by "massive corruption. misdeeds and poliUcisa-tion of the administration by the ruling party".

“The country faces serious crisis and disaster whenever Awarni League comes to power. There was crisis when the party was in power after the liberation.” she added.

"This corrupt and anti-people party should be dislodged from power immediately", the former prime minister said.

Begum Zia said the Awami League destroyed the foundation of country's economy after assuming power.

"Everything is coming from India since Awami league came lo power. Basically, they (AL) are serving the interest oi India to slay in power. They are destroying the country to protect the interest of India." she said.

The BNP chief said, it is the duty of nationalist forces to save the country and its people from destruction. “As a nationalist force, BNP has taken up the responsibility and Insha Allah we will save the nation."
