Foreign Minister Abdus Samad Azad yesterday said Bangladesh attaches great importance to its relations with the European Union (EU). reports BSS.

EU member countries are the largest export destinations of, the Bangladeshi goods, the Foreign Minister told the head of European Commission Delegation to Bangladesh Ambassador Antoine De Souza Menezes who called on him at his office this morning.

Azad said Bangladesh deeply appreciates and acknowledges with thanks the cooperation and assistance that it has been receiving from the European Commission.
