Some one hundred and twenty-one lawyers in a joint statement yesterday demanded of the government to intervene in resolving problems in one of the country's leading non-gov-ernment organisation (NGO). Gano Sahajya Sangstha (GSS).

The lawyers representing Dhaka District Bar Association and Dhaka Metropolitan Bar Association expressed grave concern at the stalemate prevailing in Gano Sahajya Sangstha (GSS) causing much sufferings to its 6,000 staff members of the organisation.

GSS has been in an unstable situation for over two months now following a movement waged by its staff for realising some demands, the statement said.
