GAIBANDHA. Mar 2: Three contesting poura chairmen candidates demanded fresh election in Gaibandha Pour.ashava. They have alleged vote rigging, terrorism and snatching of ballot papers in February 25 elections. The three chairmen candidates are Shahadat Hossain Suja (Independent) Ferdous Ahamed and Abdul Mannan Sarker. both of them from JP. They arranged a joint press conference at the local Public Library hall on February 27. They aliped that the winner Awami League candidate Anowarul Hasan Sabur bagged maximum votes through terrorism and by snatching ballot papers in Purbo Kamanai Primary School Quami Madrasha, and Purbopara Primary School centres.

Besides, mass irregularities and favouritism were evident in many polling centres in favour of Anowarul Hasan Sabur. They demanded fresh polls here cancelling the present results.
