Enamul Hossain Rajib of Titas Club took solo lead in the 20th National junior chess championship securing full five points after beating Flroz Ahmed in the fifth round at the NSC chess room yesterday, reports UNB-

Three.players — Ruhul Islam Boby of Ansar, Debraj Chatterjee of Barisal and Abdul Bari of Tangail — followed the leader with four and half points.

Firoz. Udas. Aminur, Saddam. Malek and Khaled earned four points after the fifth round.

In the day's round, Boby beat Monir. Debraj beat Mustafa. Bari beat Zahid. Udas beat Jewel, Malek beat Ratui. Khaled beat Arman, Saddam beat Imran and Amin beat Karid.

Meanwhile, Zakia Sultana and Masuda Begum jointly lead the table of the 20th National women qualifying chess championship securing four and half points after the day's fifth round at the same venue.

Ip the-fifth found matches. Zakfa of Ansars drew with Masuda of Barisal. *

Four players — Nazrana Khan Iva, Farzana Khan Ava. Afsana Parveen Nira and Fer-dousi Sultana — followed the leaders with four-points.

The sixth round matches of both championships will be held today at the same venue.
