BOGRA Feb 1: LGRD and Co-operatives Minister Zillur Rahman said the BNP is out to create instability in the country to grab power, reports BSS.

He said the party wants to use any means by destroying peace and disrupting development activities to go to power. ‘

The minister was addressing ’ a public meeting in connection with the opening of a 300-meter bridge over Bangalee River in Bo'gra at Harikhall High School premises yesterday. The Roads and Highways Department built the bridge at a cost of taka three crore.

Zillur Rahman said all elections under the present government were free and fair and have been accepted internationally. He alleged the two "vote thieves" have united to go to power in an improper way ana are involved in a deep conspiracy to destroy the democracy as the rights of voting have been established sealing any scope of rigging.

He said the whole countiyis preparing for the poura elections amid-fan-fare. If any quarter wants to oppose the upcoming elections to fulfil ulterior political gain, the democracy loving people will resist' the move unitedly.
