Leaders of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) yesterday demanded immediate release of its president Habib-un-Nabi Sohel and general secretary Nasiruddin Ahmed Pintu and other activists.

They also announced a series of programmes to press home their demand at a press conference.

The programmes include demonstration at DU campus and submitting memorandum to the DU Vice Chancellor on January 4. They will also submit memorandum to the District Commissioners across the country on January 7 and to the Home Minister on January 10.

Held at the Modhu's canteen on the Dhaka University cam- _ pus. the press conference was* attended by the central leaders of JCD.
