The Teish September Smriti Sangsad has congratulated the Prime Minister for her announcement of holding trials of all killings, including of former president Ziaur Rahman, Major General Manzur and Colonel Abu Taher. says a press release.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the announcement while addressing a public meeting at NawabgaUj on Thursday.

On behalf of families of army personnel who were hanged in 1981. the Smriti Sangsad yesterday said that it had been demanding for long a neutral investigation into the incidents of 1981 and trial of the killings of Zia and Manzur.
