BEIJING. Oct 9: China said Friday it was intensely worried by the threat to use force against Yugoslavia and warned that military action would only compound the crisis over Kosovo, reports AP.

As NATO stood ready to authorise air strikes against Yugoslavia for its military actions in the province. Chin«q~Epr=~ eign Minister Tang Jiaxuanf called for a peaceful solution.
