Different organisations and Individuals yesterday donated over Taka 75.54 lakh and 20 lakh US dollars to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund for the flood-hit people of the country, reports BSS.

Receiving tne donations at her office, the Prime Minister expressed her deep gratitude and sincere thanks to the donors for their noble gesture towards distressed humanity.

Charge d'Affaires of Kuwait Saud Abdul Aziz Al-Mekhled handed over a cheque for 20 lakh U.S dollars to the Prime Minister on behalf of his government.

Jafar Ahmed Chowdhury. Chairman, United Commercial Bank Ltd, handed over a cheque for Tk 10 lakh on behalf of UCBL. A Rahim Chowdhury. President and Managing Director of Arab Bangladesh Bank Ltd. gave a cheque for Tk 10 lakh on behalf of the AB Bank, while another cheque for Tk 10 lakh was handed over by MA Hashem. Chairman. Other donations were made by Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry — Tk 10 lakh, Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd — Tk five lakh. ANZ Grind-lays Bank of Dilkusha — Tk 5 lakh. F Garsia of Bata Shoe Co — Tk three lakh. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh — Tk three lakh. Bangladesh T and T Board — Tk six lakh equivalent to one day's

salary of its officials and employees, Land Minister — Tk 3.4 lakh (one day s salary of official and employees). Youth and Sports Ministry — Tk one lakh fifty thousand six hundred twenty six (one day's salary of the officials and employees). Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority — over Tk 1.90 lakh (one day’s salary of the officials and employees). Cultural Ministry — over Tk 1.60 lakh (one day's salary of officials and employees). Ministry of Forest and Environment — Tk one lakh and Amirul Islam. Di rector. ABC Ltd. Bananl — Tk one lakh.
