The 9th death anniversary of young rhyme composer Bapi Shahriar will be observed today. says a press release.

As part of the observance, member of his family will place wreaths at his grave in Banani in the morning. The patients of the Paralysis Ward at the Orthopedic Hospital in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar will also be served special.

Shahriar received serious injuries in a car accident in 1985 and died on August 8,1989 after four years of treatment.
