A terrorism and frustration free society can be established only by implementing the ideology of the great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM). said Speaker Humayun Rasheed Chowdhury, reports UNB.

"The Muslim Ummah today suffers from inversion and backwardness only because of their detachment from Quran and Sunnah.'' he said addressing the Inaugural ceremony of a fortnight long Miladunnabi programme of the Islamic Foundation.

State Minister for Religious Affairs Moulana Nurul Islam also addressed the function organised by the Foundation at Baitul Mokarram National Mosque in the afternoon.

The humanity is now being disgraced ... the present civilised world is suffering from lack of moral and human values ... the Individual and social Ilves have plunged into darkness." the Speaker told the

He said to salvage the humanity from tRls disgraceful situation, we have to reestablish the values of Islam in the society.

Speaker said Islam is a complete code of life. It's our absolute responsibility to adhere to the values of Islam and establish Islam in all spheres of life.

Paying a glowing tribute to Hazrat Muhammad (SM). he said with the birth of the great Prophet, the world has been blessed with the light of peace andprosperity.

The function was addressed, among others, by Religious Affairs Secretary M Ismail Hossain and DG of the Islamic Foundation Moulana Abdul Awal.

Later. Moulana Nurul Islam led a munajat seeking divine blessings for continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.
