Left Democratic Front (LDF) has decided to organize rallies and demonstrations at various parts of the city from April 15 through 24 to protest government's proposal of raising gas and power prices.

At a meeting in the city yesterday, Dhaka city chapter of LDF took this decision and criticised the government's failure in resolving power, gas and water problems.

Mostafa Faruq, coordinator of city unit of LDF. chaired the meeting, attended, among oth ers. by LDF central leaders Bimal Biswas and Nirmal Sen. says a press release.
