Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated on Friday in all district headquarters of the country with due religious fervour and solemnity. report agencies.

In Rajshahi the main Eld congregation was held at Shah Mukhdum eidghah maidan led by Hazrat Moulana Alhaj Snalimuddin.

The other congregations were held at Malopara Shahi Masjid. Sastitala Jame Mosque. Shahed Bazar Boro Masjid. Tikapara Masjid. Police Line maidan and Haji Kasimuddin maidan.

The overnight rain disrupted holding of Eid congregation at different eidghah maidans for which congregations were held at different mosques of the city on the day.
