One killed as rival groups of AL supporters clash in Khulna From Staff Correspondent

KHULNA, Dec 11: A fierce armed clash between two rival groups of Awami League supporters at Khalishpur Bas-tuhara Colony' today left one person shot dead and two injured.

The person shot dead has been identified as inamul Huq. 35. a rickshawpuller. Police said supporters of Belal group' gunned him down at his house.

The two injured persons are Liaquat and Fatema who belong to the 'Khokon group'. They were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital with bomb and bullet injuries. Police vigilance has been intensified in the area following the murder.
