Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) has undertaken a new poverty alleviation project named "Peoples Participatory Capacity Building in Project Formulation and Implementation for Poverty Alleviation” covering Jaintapur thana of Sylhet and Dherai thana of Sunamganj district. The project is belngflnanced by UNDP at a cost of Tk 20 crore, says a press release of BRDB.
