2 killed in Khagrachhari road mishap

KHAGRACHHARI. Nov 10: Two persons were killed and four others seriously Injured in a road accident at Gacchabll under Manikchhari thana here Saturday night, reports BSS.

According to Manikchhari thana police the accident took place when a speeding micro-bus and a rickshaw collided head-on. The rickshaw puller. Jamal Ahmed. 17. and passenger Sohrab. 19. died on the spot. Four microbus passengers including the driver received severe Injuries In the accident. A case was registered with Matlranga thana in this connection.

Tk 40 cr road construction project

BANDARBAN. Nov 10: The Bandarban district Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) has taken-up Sualak-Lama road construction project at a cost of about Taka 40 crores to be completed in three years, an official source said, reports BSS.
