Repellin was addressing a Roundtable on "National heritage preservation" at Alliance Francaise de Dhaka, as the chief speaker. He cited the example of the Lyon city of France

and explained how the city was preserved as a living heritage. He also showed many documents related to the subject.

For heritage preservation he said, keeping, demolishing, retaining. restructuring, renovation, rehabilitation, quality of human work, commercial purpose. size of buildings, low income housing and authentic signs are the most important points.
