Awami League presidium member Amir Hussain Amu yesterday criticised the main opposition BNP for promoting the anti-independence and communal forces to destabilise the country's democratic process "now wants to return to power toppling the elected government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by any heinous means and to do that they are trying to use religion as a weapon," he said while addressing a rally of Muktijoddha Punarbasan Sangstha at the national Press Club auditorium. reports BSS,
