A meeting of the parliamentary committee on private members' bill and resolution was held at the Sangsad Bha ban yesterday with its chairman Col (retd) Shawkat All in the chair, reports BSS.

In the meeting, the committee discussed the Special Powers (Amendment) Bill, 1996, placed by Salahuddin Kader Choudhury in parliament and sent to the committee for scrutiny, a press release said.

A three-member sub committee was formed with AKM Jahangir Hossain as the convenor to collect more Information about the bill. Other members of the sub-committee are Prof Panna Kaiser and Md Mlzanur Rahman Choudhury.
