The Foreign Eleven. a constellation of star Sayers from Pak-tan and India, recorded a goalfeast 7-3 win over

the President Eleven in an exhibition hockey match at the National Hockey Stadium yesterday.

The winners led the first half 5-0.

Although the foreign selection. led by mercurial Pakistan centre-forward Shahbaz Ahmed, started the match without four Indian players, they faced a little trouble in taking a 2-0 lead within 18 minutes.

Shahbaz, who Inspired Mohammedans to defend the league title with an all-wiri

record, broke the evenings duck in the 13th minute with a gem of a field goal. His compatriot Tahir Zaman then doubled the margin five minutes later, from a penalty corner.

Mukesh Kumar, the Indian inside-right who along with compatriot Sabu Verkey and Riaz Ahmed arrived in the field midway through the first half, wasted no time to fed Kamran Ashraf to score the third goal for the star-studded foreign selection in the 27th minute. Indian star forward, who donned Abahani Jersey in the league, did not appear in the meet.

The agony of the all-local outfit, who faced the wrath of the Indo-Pak power, was even compounded when Mukesh and Kamran struck one goal apiece

within the span of four minutes.

The President Eleven, however, offered some sort of resilience in the second session scoring three goals against Foreign Eleven's two.

Ramiz gave some sort of entertainment for a handsome crowd scoring a field goal tn the 37th minute while Kamal and Sadek shared the other two goals for the home side.

Tahir Zaman and Shahbaz then celebrated their second goals in the match to seal a heavy defeat on President Eleven.

Air Chief Jamaluddin Ahmed, who is also the president of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), distributed crest among the foreign players after the match.
