SIRAJGANJ. July 6: Three people including two women were killed In Ullapara thana here, police said on Tuesday, reports UNB.

They were identified as Ma-Uar Rahman. 52. Sajeda Begum. 30. and Majida Khatun 25.

Witnesses said Matiar Rahman. headmaster of the KC Fardipur High School in RaiganJ thana, was stabbed to death at village Banbaria while he was going to the school at about 10 am on Monday.

The killing might be the sequel of land dispute, police suspected. The body was sent to the SiraJganJ General Hospital for autopsy.

Sajeda Begum, wife of Mokarram All and mother of two children, was allegedly strangulated by her step-son Salam at .village Dhopakandi on Sunday night.

Majida Khatun. another housewife was slaughtered al-

legedly by her husband at village Salop as she failed to meet the dowry demand.

Separate cases were filed with the police.

Another report from Bogra adds: Four people were killed in the district in different incidents on Sunday.
