Pragati Boys Club and Young Cricketers ensured their promotion to the Second Division league next season after recording their second successive victories in the Danish Third Division super league held at different venues of the city yesterday.

The wins kept both teams at the top of the four-team super league table with four points each. However, the championship will be decided tomorrow when the two sides face each other in their last match.

Chasing a paltry Monipur total of 110 in 45 overs, the winners reached home (111) in the 29th over with nine wickets in hand.

Earlier, electing to bat. Monipur were bundled out in 40.4 overs. Middle-ord rs Nasir (34) and Aminul (31) were the notable run-getters.
