The Samajtantrik Khetmo-jur and Krishak Front has called a sit-in at 11:00 am, in front of the Secretariat on June 11. for implementation of its eight-point demand, said a press release.

The organisation had already observed sit-in, in front of the offices of the deputy commissioners across the country Wednesday and also submitted a memorandum to the DCs containing their demands.

The demands include allocation of 40 per cent of the revenue budget for agriculture, introducing of rural rationing system for farm labourers in rural areas across the countiy, Job security for them throughout the year and withdrawal of certificate cases filed against
