JAMALPUR. May 4: A passenger trolley c arrying the dis ciples of a locally renowned saint was rammed by a train on Shahjatpur level-crossing in Melandan thana today, leaving two dead and seven wounded, reports UNB

Melandah TNO office sources said the Jamalpur-bound 212 down train from Ba hadurabad ghat ran over the trolley bound for the mazar of Durmut Shah Kamal (RA) when it came onto the line at the same time as there was no gateman on the crossing.

The trolley driver. Malek. 30. and an unidentified woman

died on the spot.

The Injured — Ratan. 3. Abdul Aziz, 20, Helaluddin. 28, Suji Begum, 20. Khaleque. 35. and two unidentified men — were admitted to General Hospital here In unconscious state.
