The certificate awarding ceremony of No 18 flight safety officers course of Bangladesh Air Force Flight Safety Institute was held at the Institute at Dhaka Cantonment yesterday, an .'SPR press release said, reports BSS.

Chief of the Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Jarnal Uddin Ahmed attended the ceremony as chief guest and distributed certificates.

Addressing the student-officers Air Vice Marshal Jamal Uddin Ahmed said safe flying could be ensured by identifying the main causes of accident.

Congratulating the studentofficers from Pakistan Air Force and the Royal Malaysian Navy, the air chief said this would foster closer interaction and sharing of expertise among the members of air forces of the friendly countries.

Flight Lieutenant Mohammad Monir Butt of Pakistan Air Force was adjudged the best student-officer and was awarded the Chief of Air Stall Trophy .
