some of the accused were visited by pofide following issuance of warrants of arrest by the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's 'Court on Wednesday.

Police alerted immigration authorities at airports and other exit points to prevent departure of any of the accused in the biggest ever share market scam in the country.

But four of them obtained anticipatory bail till Monday, "to the satisfaction of the Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka?’ from the High Court Division of the Supreme Court yesterday.

Top lawyers were seen there with their juniors collecting the copies for their clients, flocking the crowded records room of the court.

A clerk said a good number of lawyers thronged the room since the court opened in the morning to prepare their briefs to defend their clients, the accused in the cases, and move bail petitions.

Some of the visitors carrying .cellular phones were heard relaying the proceedings to unknown callers, drawing curious glances from other visitors.

Police said they continued their search for the accused. Twenty warrants of arrest against them were sent to Moti-jheel police station and 12 more to Dhanmondi police station.
