Bangladesh Railway completed their Acme Second Division Super League campaign with an all-win record defeating Kalindi Krira Chakra by six wickets in one of the three matches, billed for yesterday.

At the Mohakhali T&T ground. Bangladesh Railway overhauled a commanding Kalindi total of 251 for six scoring 253 for four in 37.2 overs. Skipper Harun-ur Rashid scored an unbeaten 68. Opener Sumon made 43 while Sohel scored 41.

The late thunder, however, overshadowed a brilliant century from Kalindi's opener Arman Sadat, who scored 102 off 114 balls. Arman apart, middle-order bat Hossain hammered a breezy 58.

It was Railway's fifth consecutive win which enable them to finish atop from group B. They will take on the runners-up from the other group in the second semifinal on March.

On the other hand Indira Krira Chakra, who recorded their fourth win at the cost of Kathalbagan GCC yesterday, will take on orient SC in the first semi on March 4. The winners of the two semifinals will earn promotion to the First Division next year.

At the Jagannath Hall ground. Indira KC. after winning the toss and electing to bat. piled up a fighting 201 for eight in their share of 45 overs. Rashed scored highest 38 not out for the eventual winners while openers Rasheduzzaman and skipper Kumar Poddar contributed 36 and 30 respectively.

In reply. Kathalbagan could muster only 165 before being bundled out in 41.1 overs. Zi-auddin Ahmed scored an unbeaten 37.

For Indira KC. who had earlier sparkled with the willow, did one better with the ball, claiming three wickets for 32 runs in his allotted eight overs.

Meanwhile, in the other match of the day. an insignificant affair between two no hop-ers. Spread Eagles earned a facile 70-run win over Khe-laghar SKS at Mirpur City Club ground.

In a run-fest affair. Spread Eagles piled up a mammoth 331 before being all out in 43.3 overs. Opener Shajada and middle-order bat Robin contributed 60 runs apiece while Ashraf top-scored with a 49-ball 69.

Facing a daunting task of scoring more then seven runs per overs. Khelaghar could manage 261 before being all out in 38.5 overs with Runi hammering a Jazzing century. The one-down batsmen scored 102.
