The annual conference of Peoples Insurance Company Limited was held at its head office in the city on Thursday, says a press release.

It was presided over by Engr M Abu Taher. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

The meeting was also addressed by directors M A Mannan. Al-Haj Md Karimuddin Bharosha. Shaikh Sohrab Ali.

R N Das. Managing Director of the company and past Chairman Nazmul Ahsan Khaled also addressed the conference.

Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury. Md Shamsul Alam, Md Abul Bashar and Go-lam Faruk Ahmed, directors of the company, were also present. At the conference, discussions were held on the business performance of the branches as well as individuals for the year 1996.
