PABNA, Feb 1: As many as 7,000 applications have been received by the District Primary Education Office. Pabna, for appointment as assistant teachers to the vacant posts of 70 only.

This was gathered from the office of Pabna District Primary Education Officer.

The source said that a notification inviting applications for appointment to those posts was issued by the Director General. Primary Education, through the national dailies recently. The district office so far received 7.164 application from intending candidates. Out of 7,164 candidates. 5.099 were female candidates and the remaining 2,065 were male candidates. it was further learnt.
