SATKHIRA. Dec ’I: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will execute some projects in the district during the current financial year at an expenditure of over Taka 6.6 crores.

The execution of the projects which Include construction, reconstruction and repair of hospital, thana health complexes and health centres to extend health services in rural and urban areas will start next month, the district health department sources said.

The following are details of the hospitals, and health complexes on which the money will be spent in the district: Satkhira General Hospital — Taka 15.38 lakh, Satkhira TB Hospital — Taka 1.5 crore. Shyamnagar Thana Health Complex — Taka 3.35 crores, Debhata Thana Health Complex — Taka 44 lakh. Assassuni Thana Health Complex — Taka 34 lakh, Kaliganj Thana Health Complex — Taka 38 lakh and Tala Health Complex — Taka 35 lakh.
