NEW DELHI. Dec 11: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was today accorded a ceremonial reception at the forecourt of the Rastrapati Bhaban. reports BSS.

Indian Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda received the Bang ladesh leader as she arrived the Rastrapati Bhaban from the Palam Airport in a motorcade

The Prime Minister was taken to a tastefully decorated dais from where she took salute of the smartly turned out con tingent drawn from the three services She also inspected the guard

The Indian Prime Minister then introduced his cabinet colleagues and high officials to her The Bangladesh leader also introduced her entourage inem bers to her counterpart

Later talking to the awaiting journalists the Prime Minister said the sharing of the Ganges water between the two countries would be settled by tomorrow "I came to India at the Invitation

of the Indian Prime Minister, she said adding "we will talk to you after everything was set tied."

Asked whether transit issue was in the agenda of the talks between the two premiers. Sheikh Hasina said "you will know everything by tomorrow."

The ceremony over. Sheikh Hasina went to the Rastrapatl Bhaban where she will be staying

Deve Gowda later made a courtesy call on his Bangladesh counterpart He stayed there for some time and exchanged pleasantries

As the motorcade approached the gate of the Rastra patl Bhaban the Prime Muns ter was given a hearty ovation by the cheering crowd who aw aembled on both sides ol the city streets

The important road fatand* of the capital were tastefully decorated with national flags of the two friendtv countries Big portrait* of Shetkh Hasina were also hung there
