KUALA LUMPUR. Nov 10: Malaysia's youth and sports minister Muhyiddin Yassin on Friday directed the authorities to take stern action against eight bodybuilders who tested positive for taking banned drugs, reports AFP.

Tnere should not be any "so-called lax attitude with regard to the misuse of drugs, drug abuse or doping in all sports." Muhyiddin said, as he accused the Malaysian Body Building Federation (MBBF) of taking the issue lightly.

Eight bodybuilders were found to have taken the banned drugs "nadrolone" and "stanozoloT when preparing for the Asian bodybuilding championships in New Delhi from September 26-30. They were subsequently barred from com-peting.
