RAJSHAH1. Nov 10: State Minister for Information Prof Abu Syeed today underlined the need for increased involvement of the people in the mass media for the welfare of the nation and said, "we want to establish a corruption free, transparent and participatory administration in all fields." reports BSS.

The state minister called lor ’ l»rt-«6iAing ■ prinn*es on country’s independence and Liberation War in the powerful media like radio and television for the nourishment of Bangali culture and reestablishment of values of independence war.

Prof Syeed said we fought war of independence under the leadership and direction of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He said the main objective of inde pendence of war was to bring smiles on the faces of the de prlved through establishing exploitation free "Sonar Ba-ngla.

Later, the state minister visited the underconstruction building of Bangladesh Television. Tne state minister expressed his dissatisfaction at the slow pace of construction work of the building and directed the concerned authorities to complete work fast.
