2 women commit suicide in city

Two women committed suicide at Mirpur and Kamrangir Char area in the city Saturday night, reports BSS.

Morsneda Jahan Sumi. 16. daughter of one Abdul Motaleb of Mirpur, Wiled herself by hanging from the ceiling after being scolded by her father Sat urday night. police sources said

In another Incident, a housewife. Identified as Amirun-nessa. 28. wife of one Moise Uddin of Kaji Reaz Uddin Road. Kamrangir Char under Lalbag police station, committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling following an alleged quarrel with her husband Saturday night, police said

Police sent both the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Hospi tai morgue for autopsy yester day morning.
