Post and Telecommunications Minister Mohammad Nasim called upon journalists to publish objective news for the welfare of the nation, reports BSS.

The minister was addressing a conference of the representatives of the Rajshahi Division of Bangladesh Sangbadik Samity at the Town Hall of Joypurhat district Saturday. Nandan Kisor Agarawala. the convener of the preparatory committee of the conference presided. Safluddin Ahmed and Sri Kalan Shah, president and general secretary of the samity, Mozamul Haq Lalu, the editor of Dainik Korotia and Professor Janatunessa Talukdar, member of parliament also addressed the conference

State Minister for Information Professor Abu Sayeed attended the conference as special guest.

The minister said journalists play a vital role to reflect the hopes and aspirations of the people including the toilling masses.
