Student bodies of Jahangir nagar University at a meeting with the university authorities yesterday, pledged to restore normalcy on the campus

The meeting reviewed over all situation prevailing on the campus

Student leaders provost ot all residential halls university proctor and vice-chancellor were present at the meeting.

All the student leaders agreed to extend aliout coopera tion to drive out the outsides and armed men from the campus

However no decision was taken over the withdrawal of an indefinite strike called by the Jatiyatabadf Chhatra Dal (JCDI protesting capture of four resi dential halls allegedly by the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BC1J on Tuesday

Earlier at a Syndicate meet ing on Saturday all exarruna tions under JU were declared suspended till November 16

The meeting also asked all the students to return to their respective dormitories to continue regular academic activi ties
