A delegation of the central CCC of the newspapers and news agencies submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister yesterday, reports

Earlier The Central Coordi nation Committee held a rally at the Jatiya Press Club with Fazle Imam in the chair.

The speakers at the rally urged the authorities concerned to announce the spe cific date extending the tenure of the Fifth Wage Board and take steps to implement the dearness allowance in each newspaper and news agency. They also called for maintaining status quo in the Times-Bangla Trust.

After the rally a big procession was brought out from the Press Club and marched towards the Prime Minister's of fife. Police intercepted the procession at the Bangla Motor crossing near Sonargaon Hotel.
