This season's new John Player Gold Leaf Fl Racing Team, led by three times world champion Jon Jones, is determined to build on its third position in the 1996 World Championship. Jones, and teammate rookie Paul Blackburn, are aiming for success this weekend as they prepare for this weekend's Grand Prix of Corfu, says a press release.

Both Jones and Blackburn are really fired up for this weekend's Grand Prix with Blackburn having the advantage of being one of the few drivers to race the circuit during his Formula 3 days winning on both occasions.

Blackburn was bitterly disappointed after the race in Chalon (France), after fail ini? to finish, as he had consistently gained points in the previous races in his inaugural Formula 1 season.

The qualifying sessions for

the Grand Prix of Corfu take place on July 6 with the race starting at 17.30 hrs local time.
