A total of 88 alleged smug giers have been arrested and 1.490 cases were recorded with local thahas during the period, the BDR sources added.

According to commanding officer (CO) BDR. Jessore Lt Col SM Manzur Kabir contrabands seized, included Indian saree. shallow machine parts Radio and Radio parts, motor parts, airgun, machinery parts, cycle and cycle parts, salt sugar fruits phensidyl syrup bottles, imitation, cosmetics tortoise, hip, bone, nut and crockeries.
