Police lathicharge copy suppliers at exam centre: 50 hurt

NARSINGDI. July 6: Al least 50 people were injured. 15 of them seriously, when police resorted to lathtcharge at the Kali Kumar High School Centre in the district headquarters today reports UNB.

Seven people were also ar rested from the examination centre for supplying copies at the hall of female students. Local people alleged that supply ing of copies were rampant since the examination began at the centre.

Additional Deputy Commissioner today visited the centre.

Of them Alamgir 22. Llton 25 Jahangir 19 Selim. 23 Azad 17. Kamal 26 Santiar 20 Yeasmin. 23. and Nazma 20. were admitted to Sadar Hospital with serious Injury and while others were rushed to private clinics

Police arrested Assduzza man. 23 Aliqul Islam 22. Ashraful. 20. Rezaul Islam. 18. Jashlm 18 Manik. 17 and Abdul All. 23. from the centre while they were supplying copies in the examination hail
