PABNA. June 5: In spite of pour recovery of illegal arms and ammunitions throughout Pabna district, election campaign and entire process of electioneering activities were proceeding peacefully in all the five constituencies covering nine thanas and three pourashavas.

Jamshed Uddin Bhuiyan. Superintendent of Police. Pabna. which talking to The Daly Star said that all preparations for maintenance of law • and order were completed. The police super said that the contesting candidates, the rival political parties and the people in general should extend their where hearted cooperation in maintaining law and order and holding the elections peacefully.

Besides. 26 rounds of rifle ammunitions. 22 cartridges, two Chinese kulas. two ramdaos. one knife, one khur. one dagger were also recovered
