Students Anti Smoking Committee (SASC) will accord a reception to 10 non-smoking personalities in front of the Aparajeyo Bangla on the Dhaka University campus in August next, reports UNB.

This was decided at a meeting of the SASC held In the city Tuesday

The 10 non-smoking personalities are; National Profes sor Nurul Islam Prof Moha inmad Yunus. Prof Ahsanul Huq, Lutfar Rahman Sarkar, novelist Rabat Khan, drama director Shahldul Huq Khan, singers Saiful Islam. Sabina Yasmin and Fakir Alamglr. and film actor Illas Kanchan

SASC rally held

Meanwhile, another report adds SASC yesterday brought a rally in the city on the occasion of the World Environment Day yesterday

The rally, brought out in the morning from Aparajeo Bangla of Dhaka University, ended at the Osmani Memorial hall

UNB Chairman Amanullah Khan, who is also the adviser of SASC. led the rally

Convenor of Brlkhayan and Professor of English. DU Dr j Ahsanul Huq and its members also took part in the rally, said a press release.
