Chittagong Hill Tracts National Coordination and Peace Council appealed to all major political parties to present their respective party stand on the Chittagong Hill Tracts issue before the nation ahead of parliament election, reports

A press release issued Saturday by Subinoy Chakma. Secretary General of the CHT-NCPC. said some political parties were making false and misleading commitments in private, which go against coun-tiy's sovereignty, in the wake of elections.

"Hill Tracts people will build resistance against any evil force patronising the sepa- • ratists and terrorists of the hilly region." the Peace Council ^The CHTNCPC press release said an international conspiracy was on against the Chittagong Hill Tracts, an inseparable part of Bangladesh.
